WandaVision Virtual Launch Event (2021)

 January 14, 2021:

Marvel Studios presents "WandaVision," a blend of classic television and the Marvel Cinematic Universe in which Wanda Maximoff (Elizabeth Olsen) and Vision (Paul Bettany) -- two super-powered beings living idealized suburban lives -- begin to suspect that everything is not as it seems.

WandaVision, the first MCU series debuts on Disney+ tomorrow (December 15th). Since COVID has made physical premieres and fan events impossible - Marvel broadcasted a Virtual Launch Event on their Facebook page. Hosted by AngÄ—lique RochÄ—, the event included the series' stars, fan questions, and a several special guests.

First up was President of Marvel Studios, Kevin Feige.

The stars of the show; Elizabeth Olsen (Wanda) and Paul Bettany (Vision).

Lizzie and Paul surprised Marvel fans with a private Q&A.

We were also introduced to new WandaVision characters, Agnes (Kathryn Hahn), and Monica Rambeau (Teyonah Parris).

Some random guy named Anthony M got in on the fun.

As did Ben in London. (he looks familiar to me)

But *Loki voice* surprise! Tom H had a question for Paul Bettany. He does not appreciate Vision trying to one up Loki's resurrection act.

According to my completely official Calendar, we have not physically seen Tom Hiddleston in 186 Days (excluding the Loki trailer). His last appearance, was the Unicef UK Generation COVID Appeal in July 2020.

A) Welcome Back. We missed you!

And B) DHFJDKFHSKJFRHSKEJFHSKDJFHSDJFHSEJFHSESFH SJH RESHR

Obviously, Tom Hiddleston is wearing a sweater. Said sweater is not blue. Said sweater is not slim-fit or merino wool. Which in Hiddlesland definitely qualifies as a BFD. New year, new me!

Unfortunately, that's about all I can say about it. Several people have mentioned Ralph Lauren to me and I am definitely not going to say no to that. If these two Ralph Lauren looks had a baby - that would be it!

I am just not talented enough to differentiate between one item and another just by looking at the shoulders. le sigh.

As for the second question I'm getting a lot: where is Tom Hiddleston? In the UK... somewhere. I do not think this was filmed in London. I mean, if he was going to do this at home there's a much more aesthetically pleasing bookcase to film in front of.

My theory? Tom is filming or getting ready to film (hey there quarantine) for Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness. It has already been confirmed that Doctor Strange will link to the Marvel television series and that Elizabeth Olsen is in the UK for filming. The Loki series wrapped in December, so even if Tom felt like keeping his long hair there is no need for it to still be dark if he's finished with Loki... to be continued.

Loki is coming to Disney+ in May, 2021.
