BAFTA TV Craft Awards (2009)

May 17, 2009:

The BAFTA Television Craft Awards were held at the Hilton Hotel in London. Wallander, starring Kenneth Branagh and Tom Hiddleston, was the biggest show of the night winning four awards (Original Television Music, Photography and Lighting, Sound, and Director). Wallander also won Best Drama at the BAFTA TV Awards that year.

Tom presented the award for Best Visual Effects to the creatives of Doctor Who.

Post-presenting duties Mr. Heidlestone spoke with Russell Nelson. He talks about his desire to play a villain on Doctor Who, other upcoming projects, and being "infected" by Kenneth Branagh's passion.

Tom was joined by Jodie Whittaker at the show. Jodie went on to become the first female Doctor in Doctor Who.

At the time, they were filming the BBC TV special Return to Cranford. Cranford would be multi-nominee the following year.

Fashion:

I still haven't received a 100% ID on this suit but Tom wore it to pretty much every event pre-2011. It is most likely from Burberry.
