Avengers: Infinity War Press in LA (2018)

April 21/22, 2018:

Tom Hiddleston and more than twenty actors from the Marvel Universe descended upon Los Angeles for the Avengers: Infinity War press junket ahead of the final red carpet premiere on Monday, April 23. Interviews and videos are slowly coming out and I will update this page as they do.

Day One:

Up first, #Hiddlewitz was reunited when Tom Hiddleston joined MTV's Josh Horowitz for what is sure to be another memorable interview.

Tom Hiddleston sat down with ScreenRant to talk about what other MCU character he would want to play, his favorite villains, and why he owes Loki's success to the writers.

Tom showed off his best Wakanda Forever with Nikki Novak of Fandango.

Interview with ComicBook.com

Tom sat down with Stephen Weintraub from  Collider to talk about which Marvel movie was the hardest to film, his favorite Comic Con memory, and what other Marvel character he would like to play.

Tom Hiddleston was also one of the many actors to sign Hero Acts boxes. The Hero Acts boxes are a charity initiative from Marvel to benefit the Starlight Children's Foundation. Marvel is donating each of these boxes to sick and/or hospitalized children, along with a $250,000 donation.

Karen Gillan, Sebastian Stan, and Paul Bettany introduced the Hero Boxes on Good Morning America in February.

Day Two:

The cast snuck away to Golden Apple Comics in LA to film a skit for an upcoming episode of the Late Late Show with James Corden.

When your cast is 20+ members strong you have get creative with your mode of transportation.

The Avengers: Infinity War Press Conference had probably the greatest collection of movie stars ever  seen outside of an award ceremony.

Front Row: Danai Gurira (Okoye), Tom Holland (Spiderman), Joe Russo (director), Josh Brolin (Thanos), Anthony Russo (director), Chadwick Boseman (Black Panther), Paul Bettany (Vision). Second Row: Benedict Cumberbatch (Doctor Strange), Chris Pratt (Peter Quill), Scarlett Johansson (Black Widow), Kevin Feige (President of Marvel), Robert Downey Jr (Iron Man), Zoe Saldana (Gamora), Chris Hemsworth (Thor), Letitia Wright (Shuri), Winston Duke (M'Baku), Dave Bautista (Drax),  Don Cheadle (War Machine), Elizabeth Olsen (Scarlet Witch), Mark Ruffalo (Bruce Banner), Tom Hiddleston (Loki), Sebastian Stan (Winter Soldier), Anthony Mackie (Falcon), and Pom Klementieff (Mantis).

The press conference was moderated by The Grandmaster himself, Jeff Goldblum.

Jeff introducing the cast.

Tom Hiddleston only took one question during the press conference and he politely dodged answering who his favorite MCU character is to discuss how much he loves working with everyone.

The full press conference:

Tom also joined Variety's Jenelle Riley for podcast on Passion Projects, specifically Shakespeare. This probably went like a good departure for all the Infinity War press.  This is the first indepth interview Tom has done about RADA Hamlet. He describes the play in such details from the stage set up to the crowds to the characters/cast you feel like you are there (which is great because most of us were not there). The podcast is an hour long and I highly recommend taking time to listen to the full thing.

Fashion:

For both days of press Tom Hiddleston wore a Ralph Lauren SS 2018 suit in the most beautiful shade of blue and his Mykita Mylon Triton glasses. Blue must be the official color of Sakaar because Tom Hiddleston, Jeff Goldblum, and Chris Hemsworth all wore similar blue suits for the press conference.

On Day Two Tom was also wearing his John Smedley/J Brand outfit.
